Yes there are several programs out there promising that they will provide you with television on your computer but I only found one program that is legitimate. Satellite direct provides you with over 3,500 high definition channels that stream 24/7. That is over Âõ the channels that you will receive with your current cable provider. The best part with satellite direct is you will never ever pay another monthly bill again. Satellite direct asks for a one time payment to use their software that ended up to be cheaper than one monthly cable bill for me.  Most programs out there you should watch out for. I purchased a few cheaper products before switching my cable provider over to satellite direct and was very disappointed. Believe it or not all of the channels on these other programs could be found for free with a simple Google search. These were the few channels that actually came in as most of them were blank screens.
